British Web Security Firm Recruits for Worldwide Operations Boost
LONDON and SAN MATEO, Calif., May 24, 2006--Jonathan Elstein has been appointed VP of Operations with ScanSafe, the market leading provider of managed Web security services. Elstein's main responsibility will be to ensure that ScanSafe's worldwide operations continue to be as efficient, robust and scalable as possible. His role will include scaling the company's operations and processes to support ScanSafe's projected sales growth and extending the customer service function to 24 hour worldwide support.
Elstein has held senior operational roles at a number of companies in the IT, energy and financial services sectors and has over 10 years experience in building back office systems and processes. His roles have included operations director at Quantum Energy Group and head of commercial for UK eUniversities Worldwide.
Prior to joining ScanSafe, Elstein was deputy head of commercial law with Network Rail Infrastructure Limited, where he advised on legal, commercial and operational aspects of the £500m UK rail network enhancement program. He has also led the negotiations of a number of major IT outsourcing contracts and the implementation of all associated back-office processes, including the £20m IT platform and support contracts between Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu and UK eUniversities Worldwide Limited and the £300m gas purchasing contract between Quantum Energy Group and Sempra Energy.
