Since 2003, ScanSafe's core security services have grown to meet the changing demands of a rapidly evolving security landscape, providing Internet security regardless of protocol, device or location. The company continues to innovate as threats evolves – now with protection regardless of where you access the Internet.
Changing threats
ScanSafe was founded by Eldar and Roy Tuvey, originally focusing on the area of email filtering. By 2003, they began expanding their service area as it was clear that the threats was changing and that the there would not only be need for email security but also Web security. As the threats are spreading to other applications, such as IM and VoIP, ScanSafe keeps being up to date with addressing these new threats with the broad coverage of services.
Our Vision
In ScanSafe we believe that protection for the next generation’s methods of communication require a next generation’s approach. The future of Web security is inevitably leading to cleaning the Internet upstream and offsite. In the future bandwidth should be as pure, cheap and simple to secure, as water from a tap is today.
Our vision is to provide the most secure, scalable and broadly available SaaS service for Web security worldwide, moving as much of the security infrastructure offsite as possible. Based on the two principles of security and simplicity, we aim to provide future service offerings for our customers and partners, which leverage our established technology and continue our track record of innovation.
